The aim of the Government Information Society Programme is to improve competitiveness and productivity, to promote social and regional equality and to improve citizens' well-being and quality of life through effective use of information and communications technologies. The Information Society Programme is one of the Government policy programmes. The other policy programmes are Employment Policy Programme, Entrepreneurship Policy Programme and Civil Participation Policy Programme. Use short-cut:
