The use of the Internet in emergencies to be examined

On Tuesday, 18 January, the Ministerial Group for the Information Society Programme discussed the use of the Internet in crisis situations. The Ministerial Group requested the Prime Minister's Office to prepare a relevant proposal to the meeting of the Chiefs of Readiness within the Finnish state administration. Different ministries, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, the Office of the Information Society Programme and various experts will be consulted in the course of the preparation.
